When will American Production Companies ever learn? You just don’t do a US version of a spectacular British show.
I guess after the failed versions of Coupling, Viva Laughlin Life on Mars, Skins, Prime Suspect, and The Eleventh Hour. They still haven’t learned.

I disagree. American companies have the right to adapt Holmes stories if they want. It isn’t like BBC OWNS the books or something. This new show might even be good. I love the genre, and nothing can beat BBC’s Sherlock anyway.
